Search Engine Marketing – a brief introduction
Search engine marketing is commonly defined as the practice of buying paid search listings.
The trade association – Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO), includes SEO in their definition, however I’m only going to be talking about paid advertising in this article.
I’m sure you’re familiar with Googles search engine and if so you’ll already have seen the advertising down the right hand side of every search page. This is called PPC or pay per click. I’ll talk about this soon.
